Dear Parents,

Welcome to Distant Learning.

Spelling: On my teacher page there should be a document will all of our spelling words for the year organized by unit. Your student can work on Unit 5 and 6. I typically have the students write their words two times each every day.

Writing: On my teacher page I have put your students Common Lit Username in the “Photo File Cabinet”. I have them organized by homeroom. They are pictures taken from my cellphone, so I apologize if they are a little blurry. If you can’t make our what the username is just shoot me an email at alysonbass@opsb.net. The password for commonlit is “swartzgators” all one word, all lower case. I will go in and put several assignments on their commonlit account, along with a designated due date. These stories will help with comprehension, and writing skills. Please remind your child to use the RACE strategy when writing, and make sure to provide text evidence!
